Schools and Teams have been a very popular component of the Hair
Massacure. In 2011, 23 schools and several teams united in spirit,
making this event a huge success.
Hair Massacure invites YOU to start a Team!
Teams take many forms: schools, workplaces, friends, families,
sports teams. The sense of unity that comes from pinking and
shaving together should not be underestimated. A school or
workplace full of pink heads gives you a sense of the level of
commitment to Hair Massacure, and demonstrates their belief that
each of us can make a difference.
If you're going to shave together, why not pink together? Find a
participating salon and book a group time. Or, purchase Kali Pink
and pink each other. See the Offsite Events page
for helpful hints. Teams can pre-book a shave time at the mall.
Online registration is available for groups and schools.
Schools
Contact us to set up a 20-25 minute presentation at your school.
This includes a DVD presentation, explaining the history and goals
of Hair Massacure. A representative will share the MacDonald
family's story and expand on why our youth continue to be involved,
making a big difference to other children.
We will do presentations between September and January, though
November is the optimum time. This gives the school and students
plenty of time to prepare for the highest level of success. Please
allow ample notice when calling to book your presentation.
Pledge packages and posters will be provided for your school. Hair
Massacure will provide support to help the school organize the
students, pledge packages, group pinkings (if desired) and
booking at the mall for the shave. Online registration is
available for groups and schools.
While we highly recommend you experience the event at the Mall,
occasionally, an out-of-town school opts to host their own shave.
We love spreading Hair Massacure's message outside the Edmonton
area. For information and helpful hints, see the Offsite Events
page.

2011 Incentives Winners
Our winning school - Neil M Ross - in St. Albert, enjoyed having
Gord Bamford at their school for a concert in April. Huge thanks
also go to our second-place school, Leo Nickerson Elementary, who
enjoyed a rockin' dance party with DJ Fish.
Our winning hockey team - the St. Albert Shock received a visit
from Edmonton Oiler defenseman Jason Strudwick on March 20th after
one of their playoff games.
While we can't guarantee what's going to happen each year, it goes
without saying that your efforts are likely to be rewarded.
